How to Take and Complete a CPD Topic

Browse and Select the CPD Topic you interested in.
- Navigate to the CPD Topic page from the main menu above Online Courses → Continuous Professional Development → CPD Topics.
- Select the course you require by clicking on the course name – read further details on the CPD Topic.
- Select the [Take the Course] tab; if you wish to complete the topic. Although not displayed – All CPD Topics cost 3 credits or R 90.00 for individual units.

Purchase the CPD Topic
You can either :
- Return to the CPD Topics page to continue , selecting more CPD Topics to add to your cart, starting at point 1 again; or
- Complete the Checkout Details (Returning clients this will be pre-populated) and Select your payment method – Credits, Offline or Online Payment.

- Credits – Pre-purchased credits are the cheapest way of doing your online CPD Topics; OR
- Offline by EFT, Manual Deposit or Purchase Order; OR
- Online by Credit, Cheque or Debit Cards, Instant EFT, Zapper, SCode or Mobicredit through our secure online payment processor – PayFast or SnapScan. Use this link for more information on each of the payment methods.

Payment is Processed and Completed
- After payment has been received, processed and approved you can proceed to the next step. You will receive an email in this regard.
- Online payments will be immediate access, whereas
- Offline payments will take some time.

Complete the CPD Topic
- Navigate to the top Menu bar hover your mouse over Your Online Profile & Portfolio → select Profile & Courses.
- Scroll down to Registered Courses Section → Select the CPD Topic.
- Start the CPD Topic: Scroll down to the Lessons & Quizzes section → select the first Lesson, follow the lesson instructions.
- Complete the CPD Topic Assessment: Select the Assessment for the CPD Topic and Answer the questions.
- Print or Download Certificate: Once meeting the assessment criteria, access your online CPD certificate which can be printed or downloaded as a file.
- CEU Points: The CEUs will be added to your profile so you can keep a track of how many CEU points you have. Remember you need at all time to have a minimum of 60 CEUs of which 10 must be Medical Ethics (BAAs require half this amount).
