This US 120496 – Provide Risk-based Primary Emergency Care / First Aid in the Workplace course will be useful for employees to enable them to provide primary emergency care (first aid) in response to an occupational risk induced or any health emergency in their specific workplaces.
This course replaces the old DEL First Aid Level 2 Course in terms of the DEL regulations and is also the minimum required training needed by employers to comply with Regulation 3(4) of General Safety Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 “employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees.”
This course is the first of four phases to obtaining first aid certification.
