The US 119567 – Perform Basic Life Support and First Aid Procedures course is for persons required to assess the emergency and providing Basic Life Support and Basic First Aid to stabilise patients before arrival and transfer to the arrival of advanced medical personnel.
This course replaces the old DEL First Aid Level 1 Course in terms of the DEL regulations and is also the minimum required training needed by employers to comply with Regulation 3(4) of General Safety Regulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 “employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees.”
