Description
The Emergency Oxygen Providers course is either a standalone course or it can be combined into the Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR / AED) CPR for Healthcare Providers or First Aid Training Level 1, 2 / 3 courses.
Providing supplemental oxygen to those that need it is an essential element of emergency care. Emergency Oxygen Providers is designed to provide an understanding of how to safely handle and administer oxygen in various settings.
The Emergency Oxygen Providers course is designed to teach the use of oxygen to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in their occupation or workplace. The course is ideal for security personnel, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, lifeguards, swimming coaches, health and fitness staff, corporate and retail employees and other lay responders who might be exposed to, or have access to, an Emergency Oxygen.
Duration
The standalone course is 1 – 1.5 hours in length or can be integrated into any of our existing courses.

Certification
Subject to assessment, all participants will be issued with an Emergency Oxygen Providers certificate from either the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) or Emergency Safety & Care Institute (ECSI) depending on the course taken.
This qualification is valid for 2 years which can be renewed by attending re-qualification course.
